𝐌𝐈𝐙𝐄𝐑𝐎 𝐌𝐢𝐜𝐫𝐨𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐋𝐚𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐬 𝐎𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐀𝐦𝐛𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐮𝐬 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐀𝐜𝐫𝐨𝐬𝐬 𝐁𝐮𝐫𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐢.

On this Wednesday, 23rd, September, 2026, MIZERO MICROFINANCE opened up it doors officially. The ceremony took place in Ngagara zone, Quarter MUBANO. The leaders of MIZERO clearly promised to protect client’s capital and to always support their future development projects.

Therese NGENDAKUMANA, Deputy Director General of MIZERO Microfinance, announced the institution’s commitment to providing loans to different groups of people, including cultivators and farmers. She highlighted the role of microfinance in supporting economic activities and contributing to Burundi’s development objectives under the Burundi Vision 2040 and Development Plan 2060.

Speaking at the same event, Simplice NSABIMANA, who came as the Representative of the Republic Bank of Burundi, Encouraged the leaders of MIZERO on the very good step they took referring to the Large capital they’ve started with. And he straightforward reminded them to always keep the laws and never exceed on the profit they make.

Evariste BIMENYIMANA, Major Shareholder of MIZERO Microfinance, represented the other shareholders during the ceremony. He expressed appreciation to the representative of the Bank of the Republic of Burundi for his involvement and support throughout the preparations leading to the official opening of the institution.

Mizero MICROFINANCE plans to expand its operations by opening additional branches in different parts of the country, with the aim of bringing its financial services closer to more communities.
